Description

The School of Business invites applicants for one tenure- track position at the Assistant Professor level beginning in Fall 2010 or Spring 2010, if mutually agreeable.

The successful candidate will be responsible for effective teaching, research, service, and advising. Specific responsibilities will include teaching courses in capital budgeting, working capital management, and introductory finance. Applicants must have an earned Ph.D. in Finance. ABDs will not be considered. Research interests in the areas of mergers and acquisitions or Sarbanes-Oxley preferred. A commitment to undergraduate education, active participation in the development of interdisciplinary programs, and high-quality scholarly research are expected. In addition to teaching and research, faculty participate in the College community through a variety of service contributions.
