Description

The College of New Jersey is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Repairer in the Housing Repair Shop of Facilities Operations. Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in the performance of general repairer work.

Job duties include, but are not limited to, work involving the inspection, repair, and general maintenance of various building systems and finishes, including plumbing, steamfitting, masonry, carpentry, painting, electrical, and mechanical, and other equipment, fixture, fittings, appliances, and machinery. Candidates must possess a valid drivers license.

Starting salary is from $29,800 depending on qualifications and experience. This position is eligible for a comprehensive range of benefits including health, dental, and prescription drug coverage as well as generous sick and vacation leave allowances.
